Linda Martin Smith, M.A., is the Program Manager at The Matrix Center for the Advancement of Social Equity and Inclusion. She also serves as Lecturer for the Women's and Ethnic Studies (WEST) Program at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). 

Linda is the first generation in her family to earn an advanced degree. She earned her Master's in Sociology at UCCS with a Graduate Certificate in the Sociology of Diversity, Social Justice, and Inclusion, a specialized study in the areas of race and ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and class and a Bachelor's Degree in WEST, earning the outstanding undergraduate student award and a certificate in Native American and Indigenous Studies, a special emphasis on Indian Nations within the United States, First Nations in Canada, and Pacific Islanders.
